Växjö Linnæus Science Park initierar samarbete med Visual Sweden

Växjö’s new science park company has signed a partnership agreement with Visual Sweden in Norrköping. The ambition is for Växjö Linnæus Science Park to become Visual Sweden’s first hub outside Östergötland. A win-win agreement that offers the opportunity to be involved in developing Visual Sweden by contributing with competence, knowledge, time or other resource efforts regarding innovation and development.

To the benefit of business life in our own region, the agreement implies opportunities for

  •         inspiration and knowledge events in visualization and image analysis
  •         cutting edge education in agreed upon technology areas
  •         brainstorming sessions with researchers in visualization and image analysis
  •         access to equipped laboratory environments for tests and demonstrations
  •         to participate in projects to develop a new technology, service or product in visualization and image analysis, primarily with industrial, medicine and social functions applications

– The agreement, the partnership and the knowledge can be applied to several of our focus areas, and I am sure that we will get ideas to develop our lab environments, says Växjö Linnæus Science Park CEO Fredrik Lindblad. Beneficial for a business sector at the forefront.

Växjö Linnæus Science Park’s four focus areas are circular economy, the smart city, forest and wood as well as digitization. Lab environments currently exist for innovation and VR/XR as well as a lab studio for digital media, film and sound.
