How can we strengthen Sweden’s civil defense – together?

What exactly is civil defense – and how can we as researchers, companies, and organizations help build a stronger, safer society?

During WARA PS Demo Week, we invite you to an inspiring civil defense networking event. This is an opportunity for anyone who wants to understand how Sweden’s civil defense works, who is involved – and how your specific expertise or solution can make a difference.

This event is for you if you:

• Work in tech, innovation, or research and are curious about how your solutions can support Sweden’s preparedness
• Are part of a public agency, organization, or company focused on societal security
• Want to network with others who are engaged in civil defense and crisis preparedness issues

The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) will be present to share insights into current innovation projects. We will also hear from the research project ASSIST, in which Linköping University explores how civil society can be mobilized during crises.
