Abstract

In collaboration with a large number of experimental and clinical partners, Cedersund has devoted the last 20 years to developing mathematical models describing the physiology and biochemistry and most of the main organs in the human body. Lately, these have become more and more interconnected into a model for the body as a whole. This interconnected model becomes a digital twin by making it specific for a person, which is done by fitting it to patient-specific data. In this talk, Cedersund will present this work, and talk about upcoming new clinical studies for both model validation and clinical implementation.

MeDigiT

Medical Digital Twin (MeDigiT) is a platform with the aim of facilitating use of personalized digital models in healthcare. The platform is a meeting place for stakeholders in the subject of medical digital twins where technical solutions and applications may be discussed. MeDigiT is led by Center for Medical Image Science and Visualization (CMIV) at Linköping University and is funded by Visual Sweden and the active partners.
